Got a great waiter, and helped suggest items. The hollandaise sauce on the benedict was right on being best sauce you can getI I don't eat preservatives in my food any more, so pastry items such as pancakes could taste so much more exquisite without the preservatives which I now find is an aftertaste in most breads & pancakes. Their pancake was absolutely delightful, but I would suggest going preservative free & aluminum free would make food even better than it is now. I was told I am a supertaster, but I really don't think so, I have allergies...

Restaurant was closed because the floors were being polished, but we sat in the lounge and ordered dinner there. It was comfortable, the food was good, the service was good, the happy hour meatballs were very good, there was nice outdoor dining at fire pit tables, very enjoyable.

Free chips and mini corn dogs for Happy Hour. Nightly special was a huge plate of beef stroganoff. The front restaurant is closed but everyone eats and drinks in the bar area. Very comfortable chairs.

Apparently dinner service is served in the lounge. The rest of the restaurant is closed. Service was somewhat slow and incomplete and there was this door to the outside which slammed over and over when people would go through it.

We ordered two starters, our soup and salad came out first, waited for starter, canceled it, then ordered just one to try. The meals were not real hot, the fish and meats were dry and tough.

Great food, great service, but it is pricey. I think it is oriented toward business, travel, and Navy customers as it is close to hotels and across from a Navy facility. Irma gave great service, mgr Mario very friendly. Just be prepared to pay.

The food is served in the bar area. It is a comfortable setting, with a view of the outside patio area, where an event was taking place. The rib eye steak was very disappointing. It was about 1/4-1/2 inch thick and very fatty, smothered in a creamed peppercorn sauce. Not very tasty or appealing.

This was our first dining experience at Point Loma Cafe. The food was great and there were plenty options to select off the menu. We were greeted and seated right away. Our server was attentive and friendly. When our food was served, it was exactly what we ordered (zero mistakes) and tasted delicious. I would go back again.

The restaurant itself was already closed, but the bar was open until 11pm. They also serve the full menu from the restaurant side, the only difference is that you can also order alcoholic beverages such as beers or wines. Anyway, my wife and I went for dinner and the food was amazing and the service was top notch. We were served by Tony and this guy's amazing personality and positive energy made the whole experience a very worth it one. Thanks so much! Jaime Ojeda
