We were greeted when we came through the door. Everyone was very nice and attentive to our needs. Food was very delicious. We will be back whenever we visit Berkeley, CA.

Winning dessert of Mitchell's ice cream, choice of Taro, Green Tea or Mango. Attentive wait staff. Pleasant background music, not too loud. Extensive, authentic dishes offered. Good portion size. Well price.

Food flavors are palate pleasing. Owner Kerry always displays a warm welcome with a big smile. Favorites the Walnut Shrimp, the Great Wall Special Shrimp and the hot and sour soup. Will continue to patronize the establishment.

Fast service. Delicious, freshly made entrees and soup. We were welcomed when we arrived, checked in on at appropriate times to see if we needed anything, and thanked with a smile when we left.

Their food is fresh, not oily like some Chinese restaurants, and tastes good. It's not high cuisine, but it's solid good food that feels you up without weighing you down. My family goes there several times a week, and we always get their won ton soup and broccoli chicken. I also like their black bean fish (slightly spicy), but I ask to go easy on onions (I want to see more fish and less onions, and they do that).

This restaurant is great. I go there more often than any other. The food is always delicious, the service is great, they do all kinds of little extras (like bringing an extra bowl so my partner and I can share my soup, bringing sugar substitute as soon as we walk in because they know that is my preference, etc.). I can't recommend Great Wall highly enough.

The service is great and the food is excellent! The atmosphere is very simple and casual, no frills. The prices are very affordable compared to other restaurants in Rockridge. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes good, reasonably priced Chinese food and isn't trying to impress anyone with anything else.
