Dominic's is delicious! When we ate there last, Dominic was there and he was adorable ("Imagine that, they put my name on the wall!"). My husband and I shared a pizza and a pasta dish (bowtie pasta with mushrooms, chicken, asparagus... amazing). Bread sticks were so good. And the best was my Chai Cider, so yummy! Highly recommend!!

We are 100% so please with our experience at Dominic's ?? We had such a great day due to this lunch we had. I mean, what a joy our server was ?? and the food was just perfect. So delicious, we cleaned our plates. We will be back for sure

We ate here mid-afternoon on a Monday. The restaurant was quiet and the service was excellent and unrushed. I'm guessing that it's very busy here on the weekend. We shared a Mediterranean salad with fresh garlic bread hot from the oven. My husband ordered Salmon Genovese and I ordered an Eggplant entrée. Portions were huge and delicious with pasta topped with marinara and perfectly cooked veggies. Tropical Iced Tea was especially tasty. We will definitely return.

Great views of the Oceanside Harbor! My veal marsala was outstanding and one of the few restaurants that still serves veal. Portions were large enough that we could have shared the salad and still had a portion of the entree to take home. Prices were reasonable.

We love the food and service is great. Our only complaint this trip was they had 3 large parties reserved so there was only a small portion of the outdoor patio for walk in diners. We asked to be put on the list and were told there are no reservations and we could wait if we liked. A few minutes after we were sitting outside a woman walked up and asked for a table, she was told the same thing as us, she then saw an open table and asked “what about that table?” Then the waitress allowed her to go get her party of 4 and proceeded to seat them before us. Me and my husband were pretty upset about the disorganization

Service was abysmal. Long wait after we were seated before waitress appeared; longer wait to get our drinks and appetizer; even longer wait for entrees and second round of drinks. My dish was excellent (Spaghetti Carbanara) but my husband's lasagna was beyond skimpy. Two little breadsticks to accompany our meatball appetizer; long wait when we asked for more. General theme: wait, wait and wait some more.

This is our favorite restaurant at Oceanside Harbor. This visit we had dinner one evening, take out for lunch, and pizza one evening. Always the food served at dinner is phenomenal - Everything tastes homemade, with excellent sauces and seasonings - a far cry from italian chains. Have come here for years. Love the chicken fantasia, and the veal parmigiana in particular. We come from Las Vegas twice a year and no pizza in Las Vegas comes close to Dominic's. This time we tried the Italian Submarine, and it was loaded with high quality meats and cheeses. Awesome!!!! The service has always been great - even when it is crowded, as it was this time although it was an off season Monday. Our server Faro was terrific, attentive and pleasant. All the staff, including the owner go out of their way to ensure we have a great experience - whether dining in or at the take out. Although we come from a city with great restaurants, Dominics remains one of our favorites year after year.

We come here a couple of times a year. The food is ALWAYS fantastic. We finally ordered the pizza because we just can't stop ordering the cannelloni and lasagna. So we ADDED the pizza. A lot of food, but we have leftovers for tomorrow. Can't wait.

The restaurant itself was great. I just wish we hadn't bought 2 certificates, as we were only able to use 1. I know we will go back and eventually get to use it, but it might be more helpful to know that information before purchase.

My husband and care for his spaghetti and sausage at all. The noodles had a lot of water had not been drained. He didn’t care that much for the sauce either. We used to go there all the time but we quit going because we didn’t care for the food so we thought we give it another try and it may be a while before we go again. We asked for some more Bread could you get two pieces so we asked for two more pieces of bread and it never came.

Immediate seating on the patio. Ordered drinks and looked at the great menu. Ordered our food and it was prepared quickly and the portions were large. The different tastes were wonderful. Everyone else on patio appeared very happy also.

Service was adequate, not over the top but we were taken care of. They seem to let the customers enjoy the ambiance. Being right at the harbor there is a lot to soak in. Seating outside is highly recommended unless there is a weather issue.

Every time I go to eat at Dominic's the servers make you feel like family, taking time to visit and make you feel welcome. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is beautiful. My favorite time to eat here is for dinner to watch the sun set. They offer heaters so if your outside on a cool evening no worries. Although lunch is a great time to. Its a must try place. We look forward to eating there whenever we are in the neighborhood.

We wanted to share eating outdoors at Dominic's with a friend who is moving out here from Phoenix--celebrating that she had just found her apartment today. She asked if there was a happyhour and we had just missed the 6 p.m. cut-off. But Dominic very graciously extended happy hour for her and then served us the happy hour appetizers himself. He was charming, the server friendly and patient, the food excellent, and, ironically, we ate indoors after all!

We were celebrating our anniversary and the restaurant is very romantic. We love the food! The antipasto salad is fantastic. There was not chicken piccata on the menu but they made it for me. OMG!!! We just came from dinner at Dominic's. Owner greeted us and customized a seafood dish for me. I had to elbow my husband to stop him from dipping his bread into the delicious white wine/garlic sauce. Had huge mussels, tons of shrimp; w/clams, tomatoes, fresh basil in the broth. Crispy garlic bread toast slices. We finished with tiramisu (a bargain and delish at $7. . . perfect to share). All this was after we both were dipping the garlic bread into the wonderful wine vinegar-based salad dressing. Dinner at the harbor at Dominic's made our Sunday night feel like a wonderful weekend away!

Food quality does not match the price. I expect higher quality food when entrees are 18-25 bucks. The waitress was excellent and tried her best to remedy the situation as did the owner which was nice. The issue was the pre cooked food the restaurant used i.e. the risotto. I usually go to the sister restaurant in fallbook, but this place was nearby and one of my friends favorite Italian place to eat. Glad to see papa Dominic still serving, although his son and staff do an outstanding job as well we had the pizza but the Italian dishes are outstanding well worth the try if you have not been there already

We dined outside ~ metal chairs and tables with no cloths, quite unrepresentative of a fine restaurant but we wanted to enjoy the beautiful day. Our food arrived cold and had to be reheated. Perhaps that was why we were disappointed; however, the service was excellent ~ great waiter!!!

Actually ate at Davina's. We love the atmosphere and decor,and the location of restaurant in the Oceanside Harbor. Got lucky and found 2 seats at the bar, with perfect viewing for the Oceanside Parade of Lights. Service from the bartendress was excellent despite being VERY full and busy with diners for the annual event.Shared the Luciano Crustacei (sp) appetizer, which was very good (but a little pricey) and the manicotti was delicious, and large enough to share.Thank you for a great evening!

Troy our waiter was great. He was very helpful and patient as we had ten people some arriving late. Under those conditions it could have been a disaster but he handled it like a pro with little wait to serve the late arrivals.

It was a slow night so we were allowed to choose where we wanted to sit. We chose the bar and were the only people in there. The bartender, Pam, gave excellent service. Very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us choose excellent entrees. She gave us some very helpful tips about other places to eat and things to do while vacationing in the area.

The Pizza was GREAT, I also had a Seafood Pasta, the seafood was great but the sause was a little plain but all the seafood that was in it was worth it. My husband had Chicken with artichokes & cheese was great, breadstick were delicious as well!

As we got to the restaurant, a small family arrived. In addition, a group of 6 was sitting at another table. Then others started coming in. Within 20 minutes every table was filled. The wait staff stayed busy helping patrons, but was probably understaffed. One waiter, one host, one wine sommelier and the salad maker were keeping up, but barely. Would have liked to see another waiter. Good thing it was too cool to sit outside -- if anyone sat there they'd not get any attention. We want to go there again.

Clam chowder was amazing! Sangria delicious. All three dinners were bland. Breadsticks chewy and bland. I won't be back for dinner but perhaps for chowder, salad, and a glass of wine.

The clam chowder and crisella mama (know that isn't exactly how to spell that) were absolutely wonderful. My fafella pasta (bowtie pasta with asparagus and chicken) was disappointing. The other two dishes had wonderful flavor, but mine was boring. Only after I poured parmesan cheese on it did it become more flavorful. I would have rated the experience excellent based on the chowder and my husband's meal. The chowder could have been thick, but it's flavor was great.

The food has always been fantastic. Dominic is a great old-school restauranteur. They just opened a more modern (meaning not family-style Italian) dining area next to the main restaurant - nice bar, awesome! On the O'side harbor with a great view and fantastic food. We love the place!

It’s not so much the waiter was rude, but very inattentive. Never stopped by once the meal was dumped off, and no refills. Too busy being cool, and it was not even that busy. I will also make a comment on yelp and warn everyone I know that this is a place to avoid. Trust me, the tourists will be tricked and then after a while the gig will be up. Avoid this place!

Horrible service. I had to go look for our server two times and ask for our bill. Calamari tasted like rubber bands and was a complete waste of money. Pizza was awesome but too bad everything else was horrible.

Love the remodel of the dining room, but it needs something soft to absorb some of the sound. When full, the noise is way too loud. With all the remodeling past/current you should remodel the restrooms. Current one in the kitchen /store room gives a bad impression of an otherwise nice place.

The Wait person did try to make amends by offering a dessert & coffee and removed one charge (the salad). If I were having a pizza I might go there but would not make the trip over just for that purpose. The salad dressing (balsamic) sat in a pool, running the dish. The veal for my partner was tender but vegetables were hard. My veal was overpowered with cheese & other ingredients.

The service was poor the evening we visited, it took quite a while for us to even be approached by the one person waiting tables, a wednesday nite! The food was good though,, didn't like the long waiting , would have been nice if they had more servers and at least got you going with a cheerful hello, some drinks and bread!
